Just Like Magic, Dissent to Tyranny Vanishes
Is this just my imagination or am I, again, being tricked into complacency.
It seems odd to me that in recent weeks, the “Substack” ecosystem seems to be much less active on topics of tyranny, that effects most of us. For myself, a very minor contributor to the overall discussion, but, a avid seeker for information, find the offerings in my mailbox much diminished of late. Perhaps they have moved to the chat world (not really my thing), perhaps the situation has miraculously gotten less tyrannical (in my opinion, rather unlikely), or, perhaps this platform is slowly being compromised as a source of finding alternative viewpoints. The last point was brought to my attention by an astute observer, Jaime Jessop.
I am not suggesting that all information has been eliminated. If that was done, I think there would be a mass exodus. I think it more likely, as in the fable of the boiling frogs, for changes to take place slowly, so as not to be noticed. If this suspicion has validity, or even if it is does not, we should make some noise so that censors that are, or, would be, are keenly aware that we are not so asleep anymore.
My current view was expressed in Jaime Jessop’s article and replicated below:
How could a refuge for free exchange of ideas and information not be noticed by those who have the most to lose, from this type of activity. They will bend and poke at each and every pipe and mechanism of those platforms, counter to their desired single source of "Newspeak". They will hire and bribe their way towards that end. I am not sure that many institutions have the fortitude against these dark forces. Eventually they spring leaks and become rerouted towards the aims of the elitists. The leaks and changes are small at first then they all become a part of the same machine.
My, that was dark. It just seems to bubble up in me these days. I hope, I am wrong, but there is an obvious push towards limited hangouts for those of us who are sick and tired of the official lies. Keep up your spirits and good work. I wish I could support more people like yourself. Maybe at a later date, or, a different way.
This note is just a heads-up, for those who care as Jessop’s article was for me. Share the suspicion.
I think it fair to say I write a bit about tyranny still. But there is an awful lot to write about so I cover lots of things.
Including the lot of awful things!
